As someone who has moved around a lot, I’ve never thought of any one place as “home.” Even now, when someone asks me where I’m from, there’s never a clear answer in my mind. Having been in Tampa for five and a half years, it definitely feels like home here. But then if I go to either of my parents houses it feels like home there as well. Home to me is not necessarily a place but a feeling. And I feel at home in a lot of places even if I haven’t been there in a while. It is also the place you come back to after a long journey, or wherever your closest friends/family are.
